22 Mountain Road - Logan County
These two picture where taken at the
bathhouse.  In both of them there appears
to be the figure in the window to the left
of the door.  Could it be Mame Thurman
still seeking justice for her murder?
There is the faint outline of a face with all the
features in the middle window of the door.
The apparition is very faint but it is definitely
there, but what it is for I cant tell for sure.
The pictures are all from the same building as
the pictures above
(left)  This is quite possibly the single
scariest picture that I have ever come
across.  If you look directly in the center of
all the orbs there appears to be a very
distinct evil looking face.  When I first saw
this one it sent chills up my spine.  I will be
making a trip to the site soon to do an
investigation of the area.
(left)  This is a
blown up and
cleaned version
of the face in the
picture to the far
left.  You can
easily make out
the facial features
in this picture

The ghost of Mame Thurman, a lady killed on June 22,1932 by a still unknown killer, has been
seen walking the woods where she was killed. The pictures and the story were given to me by
K. H. of Logan.
A friend of mine brought a picture to work with her that she had taken of another old house
and captured a foggy image. I've always been fascinated by the Mamie Thurman story since I
can remember. So that led me and my friend up there to take some pictures. It was really
spooky that night. Actually we thought it was fun. We didn't see anything, but we did hear a
noise which sounded like a bear running down the mountain behind the old house where the
picture was taken. We grabbed our flashlights, and shined them around. There wasn't anything
there. A few minutes later, there came an ice cold breeze that seemed to come to a sudden
stop around my head. It was so cold. So, we decided to go into the house and take a
look.
There wasn't much of anything in the living room or kitchen, but old beer bottles and news
papers. We decided then to check out the bathroom. Again there was old newspapers in
the bathtub. I picked up one and started searching for a date. The date is what spooked
me. It was my birthday. Exactly the month day and year that I was born. I will never
forget the feeling that came over me. Before we left we decided to take pictures of the
house, not knowing that we had actually captured a figure of the woman in the window.
(left) This picture was taken by Debra Dennison at 22 Mine
Road a few months earlier than the pictures above taken by K.
Hunt. She took this picture with a Kodak 35mm disposable
camera. It was taken in front of an old brown house that was
sitting beside the house where the other pictures were taken.
The brown house has since been burned to the ground.
On the right side of the picture you can see a solid white image,
that is the sweatshirt of one of the people that was there with
Debra..
